Round off your trip with a glimpse of the mighty Zambezi River at Matetsi Private Game Reserve in Zimbabwe or the awesome sight of Victoria Falls from Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia.
Itinerary
Start anticipating your African safari with a short summary of what you can expect each day on safari to bring. This safari begins at Maun Airport in Botswana and ends at Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport in Zambia.
This safari begins at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and ends at Cape Town International Airport.
DAY 1: OKAVANGO DELTA
Upon arrival at Maun Airport you are welcomed by a member of the team and directed onto a light aircraft flight that will take you to the lodge or camp of your choice in the Okavango Delta.
Spend two nights at Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge in a thatched cottage under a cool canopy of forest. Explore your surroundings on daily game drives, bush walks, river cruises and mokoro excursions or indulge in bird watching and stargazing. For relaxation there is a hammock, which sways in the trees outside the main living area, and a shaded plunge pool.
Alternatively
Relax for two nights at Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp in an elegant safari tent on a wooden deck. Enjoy your choice of daily adventures, including meandering along the floodplains of the Delta by mokoro, exploring the deeper channels by motor boat, nature walks accompanied by a professional guide or tracking game by open 4x4 safari vehicle in the mopane forests and open grasslands. The added highlight of an evening game drive by spotlight assures you of the most complete lodge experience in Botswana.
DAY 3 & 4: OKAVANGO DELTA
While away the day at your leisure until it is time for your short light aircraft flight to Xudum Airstrip, where you will be met for an exciting game drive en route to your chosen lodge or camp.
A luxury safari suite with ensuite facilities and plunge pool will be your home for the next two nights at Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge. Explore the watery wonderland on game drives, night drives, power boat adventures, guided walks and mokoro excursions.
Alternatively
Enjoy two nights at Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp in a luxury tent with ensuite facilities, sala and plunge pool. Game drives, night drives, power boat adventures, guided walks and mokoro excursions are sure to entrance and amaze you.
DAY 5 & 6: SAVUTE
A light aircraft flight will take you to a remote corner of Chobe National Park for your two nights at Savute Under Canvas, with its semi-arid vegetation. Accommodation is in an ensuite tent at a private campsite. Daily game drives and walking safaris offer ample opportunity to track the abundant wildlife.
DAY 7 & 8: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Take a light aircraft flight to Kasane Airport, followed by a drive to Chobe Chilwero, where a luxury cottage awaits for two nights stay. Professional guides lead game drives in open 4x4 game safari vehicles and water safaris by motorboat. Day excursions to Victoria Falls may be arranged at an additional cost.
DAY 9 & 10: MATETSI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Travel to Matetsi Water Lodge by road, clearing customs and immigration en route. Watch the mighty Zambezi River rolling by for the next two nights in a spacious suite on the shady river bank. Go in search of the abundant wildlife on morning game drives and discover the exciting nocturnal world of the carnivores on thrilling night drives. Track game coming down to the river to drink on guided bush walks or admire them from the smooth waters on sunset boat cruises or from a canoe. Try your hand at catching the fierce tiger fish or any of the varied species that inhabit the Zambezi.
Alternatively
Enjoy two nights at Sussi & Chuma in a twin bedded tree house. Enjoy your choice of four adventures, including game drives in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park in open 4x4 safari vehicles, guided walks and a visit to the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls.
DAY 11: VICTORIA FALLS OR LIVINGSTONE
Travel to Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone Airport by road for your flight back home.

No single room supplement applicable at some properties (with the exception of Savute Under Canvas) for the first two single rooms booked, thereafter a single supplement will apply.
Air Botswana departs Johannesburg at approximately 10H00 with an additional flight at approximately 13H00 therefore an overnight in Johannesburg may be required should your International flight not connect with either of these flights. We recommend the Intercontinental Airport Sun at ZAR 1625.00 to ZAR 1813.00 per person sharing per night bed and breakfast.
